The Government finally revealed its new-look proposed foreshore and seabed legislation. The Inland Revenue Department has become the target of much Opposition party mockery, after it was revealed one of their managers enjoys wearing fairy wings to work and makes her employees display a photo of a monkey on their desks (to remind them they are a monkey on the back of management).
And, the octogenarian crime underworld has raised its head for the first time, with an 81 year old Levin man being charged in relation to the theft of a mobility scooter.
