Shipping costs

We send our orders all around the world using New Zealand Post. It is our policy to charge only what the New Zealand Post charges us. Our system is pretty good at predicting this on the shopping cart page as you complete your order, but it can vary due to the amount of padding we need, the size box required and so on. If we're more than $5 over our calculation we'll confirm it with you before despatching your order and charging your card. And if we're under, then the lower amount is all we'll charge you.

We also charge a flat rate of NZ$8.50 for packaging costs. We're very careful about packing your order to make sure it arrives in perfect condition.

Saving on shipping costs

We looking for ways to reduce packing and shipping costs, but we're largely at the mercy of our suppliers. If you want to save on shipping, try making large orders less frequently or get together with other local homesick Kiwis to make a joint order: shipping is proportionally less on heavier orders. Also, as shipping cost depends on weight you'll find products in cans or jars are more expensive than light items like chips or paua jewellery.

Target delivery times. . . (days)

In our experience delivery, especially to the UK, is often much quicker than quoted for the heavier items. Below are the target delivery times according to NZ Post.
